We can`t deny that wireless charging is becoming more and more ubiquitous and more important for public charging, though there are 2 main standards that lead as of now, Qi and Rezence. Is it a case of chicken and the egg?
Rezence offers much more freedom and room to charge multiple devices while Qi you have to align your gadget to that sweet spot, owners of Galaxy S6 and S7 can tell more about this.
Manufacturers won’t produce the devices until consumers demand them. Consumers won’t demand them until they see how well it works in public places. Public places won’t commit to them until manufacturers settle on a standard. So who will take the spoils of this war? Qi or Rezence

I actually prefer Rezence, offers more freedom than Qi, Samsung currently support both standards on S6 waiting to see where Apple will tilt though unofficially support Qi through their watch
