Wachana na DP. Kenyan politicians and top government officials have been stealing from wana inchi since independence.
Some of their children now claim they are clean and their richness is clean and legitimate.
No I don’t agree. Statistics is scientific. Using scientifically established methods almost eliminates the error. There is a small error associated with the sampling but that is usually stated (in the result). Organizations use statistics in many aspects of society everyday and they work. Its only that in Kenya when the statistic has any mention or relation to a political aspect, conclusion is it doesn’t work.
When you design an experiment, you are actually using statistics. Mix a small batch of A + a small batch of B to Make C. If this works, then you make a 10000kg batch size. If it doesn’t, rudi drawing board. Save you costs. Classic statistics. In real terms A could be your % winning in Nairobi. B is loosing % in Kiambu. Based on a sample size. Now predict your outcome.
For example in the above poll, Onyango Ochieng embraces the result that Ruto is the most corrupt. If you go to another poll, chances are he rubbishes the poll showing Raila trailing Jomo by 8%.
Statistics should be a politicians’ best weapon. It shows him where he stands with his electorate. Where he should make corrections. His weaknesses. Politicians in Kenya read them as maliciously pointing to their political death.
Clinton is statistically leading Trump. Trump hasumbui. He doesn’t cry oh this is malicious, set up, etc etc. Trump simply adjusts his tactics based on the poll numbers.
