I recently visited a Friend in a student populated area,and he’s got this Wi-Fi plan,1 mbs for 500/- a month,provided by one of the tenants. The provider also offers daily and weekly subscriptions. There are also better speeds for more. Building has like 50 bedsitters.
There’s a certain mini-mast on top of the building,probably a receiver? Not sure and like two routers in different floors.

Anyone with info on how this works? What does one need exactly to venture into this? And is it viable?

This was part of my question btw,cause obviously there has to be an internet service provider,what companies does one approach,and with what kind of a product offer, charges etc
