Why you should not torture yourself in the quest to save money

There is this time I survived on ngumu mbili na maji when working in Mjengo so that I can save. I saved enough to buy a calf and animal feeds. Everything was flowing well. When I was saving towards buying a second calf, evil satan passed by our village in form of foot and mouth d!sease. I wasted all my money on the veter!nary officer. The young bull didn’t make it. Not even the skin could be saved.

Since then, I hate ngumu passionately.

…hehe but success is as a results of a series of failures. Ungeanza tu tena, sahi ungekuwa na ranch ikona hadi horses na unaendesha gari mzito.

Even if the disease hadn’t hit your farm, how exactly were you planning to increase the herd by buying a bull first instead of a heifer? The ngumus are faultless, you didn’t plan well.

I was planning to sell the bull upon maturity and then buy two small heifers.
