Why Uhuru is Kenya's BEST President ever.

Copied:

What has Uhuru done to deserve all the hate, matusi, resentment, derision, and hostility that we see on social media?

For nearly 10 years, his gavament has held inflation at the same rate as other previous administrations, the exchange rate has only depreciated slightly due to the Covid impact on tourism, and virtually all economic indicators are stable.

What’s more, Uhuru’s gavament has achieved some of the greatest developmental milestones since independence.

FACT: Uhuru has tarmacked more roads than ALL the previous administrations put together. The roads are distributed everywhere. Uhuru’s contribution to infrastructural development in just 10 years surpass what was done in nearly half-a-century. From the SGR, to projects like the Nairobi Expressway to Kisumu Port to Lamu to tens of huge dams that are expected to change millions of lives. Anybody who remembers, for example, how shabby UpperHill was 10 years ago knows what Uhuru has done in this sector.

FACT: Uhuru has raised electricity connectivity from around 30% to over 80% - the highest in any developing country IN THE WORLD. Electricity production has doubled in just 10 years!

FACT: Uhuru’s gavament has come up with some of the fastest innovations to ease mwananchi’s life. According to the WB and IMF, Kenya is the most improved country EVER in the ease of doing business. Locally, you now only need to go to your local Huduma centre to get an ID, register a business, etc. Things that used to take an year during Moi’s time now take less than a week!

FACT: No president has done as much as Uhuru has for the security sector. From buying the first APCs for the police to establishing SFs to buying new transports for the airforce and attack helos for the army, Uhuru has been transformational. Now every police station has at least two vehicles, the police have new guns, etc etc and the failure of the police to respond to security issues is more to do with corruption than anything else. Look at the way the DCI has been empowered with high tech tools and expertise mpaka now it looks like the FBI; never happened before. Doubt me? When was the last time you heard Al Shabaab has exploded even a grenade in Nairobi? In case you forget, getting into a matatu was a very scary thing until Uhuru took over.

FACT: Uhuru has become the first president to really pay attention to the plight of farmers. Today, the tea and coffee sectors are being totally revamped, with the cartels in the tea sector being dismantled completely. Markets are being built all over. The milk sector is vibrant, and just the other day it was reported that avocado farmers in Murang’a alone earned nearly 10b in one year!

FACT: Uhuru has been the first president to try and implement free education up to Form Four, and universal healthcare. Mathas don’t pay maternity fees, and just yesterday for example, Magoha said ALL kids should be allowed to sit their examinations whether they had paid their exam fees or not. THINGS LIKE THESE HAVE NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

I could go on and on and on.

The other day we were entertaining a group of East African journalists (from Rwanda, Uganda, Tz, and Burundi) and they were totally shocked at the negative attitude of Kenyans towards their gavament. After a drive-around in Nairobi (Upperhill, Thika Road, Langata Road, Southern-Bypass etc etc), all 20 of them were like: YOU GUYS LIVE IN EUROPE! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS COMPLAINING?

Now, we could say that Uhuru has failed to control our national debt and that he has allowed corruption to flourish (although, to be fair, its NOT the job of the president to fight corruption, and there’s little one can do when the entire society is rotten to the core).

SO WHAT HAS UHURU DONE OR FAILED TO DO THAT HAS AFFECTED YOU PERSONALLY THAT YOU KEEP SPEWING SHIT ABOUT HIM? WHY ARE YOU BLAMING YOUR POVERTY ON HIM WHEN ALL INDICATORS ARE THAT KENYA’S ECONOMY IS EXPANDING IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS EXCEPT FOR 2020/21 (BECAUSE OF COVID)?

Talking of Covid, Kenya’s response has been termed one of the best in the developing world, but what do Kenyans do? BLAME UHURU for the epidemic!

Nimeanza kuona kama hii blame game is the usual bonobo crap ya passing the buck and never taking personal responsibility. bONOBOS WHO CAN’T THINK, INNOVATE OR CREATE WEALTH ARE FINDING AN EASY TARGET IN THE PRESIDENT.

And tribalism has a very, very big part to play in this shitstorm…

You can’t beautify a pig no matter how much lipstick you pile on.
His borrowing vs his development should go hand in hand. The fact that it seems for every 1b borrowed only a small % can be accounted for in development with the bulk ending up in his cabal’s pockets makes him an absolute failure.

By the way with the kind of funds he has borrowed, even an illiterate could have done a better job. He can only be at level compared to absolute failures like Moi. No wonder he wants to impose moi 2 on kenyans

Kenya’s biggest problem is corruption and the fact that he and his head in that makes him Kenya’s problem

As long as Wanjiku doesn’t have money in their pockets all this is mbusit

We can’t eat milestones nor can we feed on tarmac.

During kibaki everybody had something nowadays people are living on loans. Ujinga sana only benefiting his family and close allies

Ouru ako sawa. Wakenya ndio wanapenda kukopa kopa and living beyond their means.

ye ni mwizi sugu. most of these “attempts” have FAILED , because he’s skirting around the issue of corruption instead of fighting it full force

How do you expect him to fight himself and his entire family? Lol

Not only that, this person engineered the decline of non profit sector, which employed thousands of people, simply because some non profits backed/sponsored a petition to annul his election in. So he had to “teach them a lesson”.
What happened to rounding up those who messed it for you and teaching them a lesson privately? Instead, punishing a whole sector including the very innocent.
FYI: non profits doing civic education are totally muzzled. Human rights defenders on their knees.

And then when more funds are needed, instead of looking at efficient use of the funds already collected by sealing loopholes, the guy’s default is more tax. That’s because he knows those loopholes has been of great benefit to his cabal.

More tax discourage investors thus more unemployment.

More tax also makes our goods more expensive and when you combine that with lack of local businesses protection, then cheaper imports reign. This has great implications for the future both micro and macro

If you rattle a snake you must expect to be bitten. Those NGOs dug their own graves.

At what cost and how effective are they, you can’t burden people with loans and use a fraction of it and then expect praises. Again only a foolish man takes a loan using his inheritance to build a house when what he needs is a source of income.

Dude, kindly go back and tell the poster that Uhuru was just doing his job which he begged the electorate for. Also tell him that he has not done a v good job. By giving to Peter and borrowing from Paul. We have refused to sing his praises. Also can he please leave us alone in 2022?

I was one of the many gullible fools that believed he would fight corruption. But truth be said some of us did not know how much the Kenyattas own us and consider Kenya as their personal property.

Eiiiish capish. Say no to dictatorship. Which is what we have at the moment.

Oooops he muzzled the opposition too. Even tho I don’t agree with Jakuon’s policies. Still how is the leader of opposition in gava? yawaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

All those charged with corruption run to sugoi. Echesa, Waluke, Sonko, Didmus, Kimani Nginjiri, Gachagua etc etc. Sugoi is the den of corruption and biggest hinderance to fight against graft.

He has not been in power as 2nd in command for the 2nd term. Okay? let us think about the Kenyatta dynasty. This post was in praise of Uhuru. Hata sijui nianzie wapi as I don’t have all day.

Why is he harbouring criminals? Isnt that a crime in itself?

Hehe… if we revisit this in 2031 after the next guy’s rule is coming to an end, we will find these exact same arguments being peddled… ohhh ohhh this guy has failed, ohhhh ohhh this and that. We as the electorate have been taken roundi roundi by politicians since independence and even when talkers here fika 85yrs, they will still be arguing that the person in power at that time hasnt helped them and they will die bitter as politicians continue conning their kids and grand kids and the cycle repeats

The post is about Uhuru. So careful what you say here. Uhuru should target all corrupt officials. Ogey? This man has had the nerve to insult us on several occasions. He said Nairobi is controlled by cartels, he said 2b vanishes per day, he said pesa inaenda mifuko ya watu…like really? he is the one elected to protect the public purse. But then again…he asked us ‘mnataka nifanye nini’…case closed.

Why isn’t Uhuru charging & jailing him? Because he knows his hands also aren’t clean. They are all thieves. Hizi zingine ni theatrics for the masses.
