Most websites that make real money run on PHP with simple index.php file that manages routing. Second to that us RoR.

This .NET, Django, Spring, NestJS bullshit is just for quacks to overcomplicate things with a bloated stack to ensure:

  • bugs become a professional part of a dev’s life
  • hire more in terms of QA, testers and Ops teams
  • massage devs’ egos

If you are a technology startup, ensure you have minimal dev knowledge to avoid running costs that make tech the business instead of the product you are selling.

It is not about the ‘new thing’, it is about justified costs versus what you value you are getting. I looked over at some financial statements from a company where a friend is a co-founder and the costs for running there product was astounding. They do some VAS stuff for financial institutions. Why have 16 servers on AWS for one service: ati microservices, really? The service itself can be done with 2 servers max, one for client endpoint and the other for async stuff with a db instance and that’s it. Guess that’s why I quit the industry before quacks invaded.

I am still a novice mkuu. I translate the logic to my mothertongue, before implementing it on code.

AI can not code, they can implement simple routines and structures but anything above intermediate level programming haiezi, it can not also generate a full working program, can not debug na kwa og kama mimi haiezi ona kitu kwa assembly.

My servers backend runs on c and rust, very fast and robust. I only code in assembly, c or python hizo zingine ni upuzi
