Why do media stations portray them as devil worshippers opposed to christianity? They are not opposed to Christianity, they don’t believe in existence of anything. They are not devil worshippers since they don’t believe there’s an devil to star with
A human being cannot believe in “nothing.” By virtue of being human you have 3 elements which are fashioned in the system of a tabernacle. The body, which is like the “outer courts.” Then the “holy place” or your spirit (intelligence, memories, conscience) and lastly the “holiest of holies” which is the real you, the part God predestined for Himself, where the Holy Ghost resides. After you die, death will simply take you to your destination which is either Satan’s domain or right next to God. Everyone must make a choice, can’t be non-commital. Those who deny the existence of God are by default accepting Satan.
According to Dante’s Inferno, yes. Any child who isn’t baptized and anyone who didn’t accept Jesus as their lord and saviour before dying goes to Limbo, the first circle of Hell. This happens regardless of how good the person was in life. Now a theist will say “Dante’s Inferno is just a poem”. And they’d be right. But from the perspective of atheists and agnostics like me, there is no difference between poetry and scripture. They’re both old stories.
REALLY? Everyone must make a choice? Like there is any choice when you out rightly point out its either you commit to religion or perish? Does Christianity or religion really make up for freewill or choice when every thing is clearly Gods plan and has consequences? It really tells a lot about God or your creator for that matter!
You must stop this nonsense of imposing/projecting your beliefs into someone who doesn’t subscribe to your notion of thinking. I believe most of us were born into a culture ,taught the things we believe in. And that became our truth. Do we pose to ask or question beyond what we believe as true? And is it bad to subscribe to a different belief system? Why must we always judge someone by holding a certain populist stand/belief? Just because Christianity is the world’s most popular religion, does it mean other religious beliefs/non religious beliefs don’t hold? I find most Christians so shallow with their reasoning, everything else for them starts at religion and ends at religion! Lets be tolerant of other people’s belief systems or spirituality.
:D:D:D:D:D…it evokes an existential crisis which Most lower Humans use the anchoring mechanism to navigate Earth’s ups and downs, unlike we higher humans who use sublimation mechanism as clearly illustrated in Peter Zapffe ,Den sidste Messias .
I don’t want to quote any religion because they all differ on what’s right and wrong, and on man’s destiny. But I think there are universal ideas of good and evil (e.g. murder is definitely evil because it takes away life unfairly; kindness, generosity and fairness are virtues because they create peace and joy), therefore there are (arguably) objective means of deciding if one should be rewarded or condemned, regardless of religious affiliation. Besides, there is a conscience in the heart of every human being that tells them they are doing wrong, even when in denial. That is the sessence of the God no religion can fathom. So, no, I don’t think a supreme all seeing and just Being would condemn souls on the basis of religion or the era of their existence.
it’s the ppl in the media projecting their personal beliefs…by the way si tulisema eti these fake foreign religions have destroyed african societies…meanwhile the pope is protecting gei rapist priests… …
