The Bible is actually literal here. James 4:7 says resist the devil and he will flee. I would say just read the whole book of James cause it is only 5 chapters and boy is it a book full of wisdom. Heck, read the whole Bible. Just try and read a chapter of the Bible each day cause it is a powerful book. In Ephesians if you look at the whole armor of God, it is said that in the unseen world or the spirit world, the Word of God is a sword of the spirit. Literally a sword.
Today is Sunday so I might as well give you a verse that will take you to Heaven and we all know it. John 3:16 which states if you believe in Jesus Christ, you will go to Heaven. Add Ephesians 2: 8-9 where it says that you are saved through faith in Christ not by works or saying you are a good person. John 14:6 - “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father EXCEPT through me”.
No one can be sinless. If you break one commandment, you have broken them all. A single lustful thought, you are done. So believe in Christ, that He died for your sins, and ask him to come into your life and your heart will change in a very suppernatural manner. Repent, which means you are willing to change your ways and you will go to Heaven.
It’s the best way for me to get Kenyan and East African news and the relevant chokosh wars that ensue without watching any African media.
