Biz inaumia sana lazima ni replace EC chip ya laptop ime short and for the love of god I can not get any vendor in kenya imebidi nimeambia customer angojee 3 weeks aliexpress ini letee, this has been my experience with processors, motherboards e.t.c

I have over 30 laptops and 2 dozen circuit boards laying around juu siezi pata components. Hii ni shida moja ya kenya I wish I live somwhere like taiwan kwenye every known electronic component exists.

Unless the physical board is damaged siezi advise customer tununue motherboard mpya juu the price is almost the real thing.

Imagine there are people with the capital to do it here lakini to start, they gotta visit like 50 government offices, pay lots of money and get lots of paper work.

Walai nikakuwa rais, mtu angekuwa anaanza kampuni serikali inamletea documents mahali tu ako.

Ile siku tutaanza kubuild our own ICs, PCBs/motherboards ndio we shall stop relying on Asians, Europeans and Americans for these products.
Although, there is already a company in Kenya that can fabricate ICs, but their is no market, and also there are no serious IC designers in the country, so it doesn’t make any economic sense for them to fabricate only 10 chips.

True about this, in the modern age technology is progress, being able to design and build in your own country will make you stand out as a progressive country especially in kenya.

Engineers wako, but most dont study ic design vizuri juu emphasis ya most engineers huku kenya ni power systems as most go to work for kengen, kplc ama kazi iki kosa anakua electrician and I do not blame them, utasomea circuit design ufanye kazi wapi?

Agreed. Engineers wako, but many are not interested in learning hardware design especially IC. It is a mentally demanding line of work and not many desire to put in that effort.
