Hi guys, i’m an igbo female from Southeast Nigeria, but born and raised in the States. I’ve been noticing this trend lately of East Africans bashing Nigerians randomly on the internet, especially on youtube. It really showed when I was watching a video about a beautiful Nigerian girl, and the comments were harsh insults about Nigerians from East Africans. I noticed awful comments from Rwandans, Kenyans, Ugandans ect claiming she couldn’t be Nigerian because she is beautiful, that Nigerians are ape like looking, built like men, have ugly wide noses and look like bleached monkeys. I don’t really care so much, but these comments came out of nowhere unprovoked. I’ve also been noticing these comments on instagram, facebook, witter ect. You would never see Nigerian girls bashing East Africans unprovoked like that. Its even weirder as a lot as these same people are also stereotyped the same way in terms of features, and it seems they just want someone to bash not to feel better. I just want to know why other Africans always feel the need to bash Nigerians when we haven’t done anything to them. You would never see a group of West African females this invested in talking about how ugly East African girls are. I highly doubt that those who love bashing us have actually met more than three of us in their entire life, but they seem to always have an opinion or slyly try to use us as insults.
Admin ata wewe unafaa kuenda ukanyonye colostrum alafu ukojoe ulale…
You are going to choke on unnecessary thing
This is what AfroSinema and the whole Nollywood movie exposure has portrayed to them.
Most guys from your country are more likely to be involved in fraud, drug trafficking and different types of con-games.
I personally have no beef with Naija people. But I think Nigerians are a little crazy to have a dead president ruling them. Get that Buhari out of office NOW. Then send those Fulani herders to their promised virgins because that is the only way you will experience peace.
Your people are too loud for a start. TOO LOUD.
Secondly, your country is a total shithole and yet you want the whole of Africa to bow down to you, calling yourself the giant of Africa. A giant that produces less electricity than my own Kenya, and has oil deposits but often doesn’t have fuel for its cars.
OK, let me put it this way. I am 67 years old and I have NEVER, EVER gone without petrol in Nairobi, or electricity for a day.
So, tell your countryfolk to walk slowly when they come here and stop the wash-wash, gold fraud, drug trafficking, human trafficking, ivory smuggling, phone scams, identity theft, bank crime…you get the point.
Niatia muthee kawaru…
Ni kuseo vyo wakwito. Ukandea Mwikali le?
Have you been to Nairaland???Nigerians on that forum are more ignorant than a Mauritian Dodo.
They are ignorant about Kenya. And they are the ones that start the bashing
I agree that Nigerians are very ignorant of Kenya like with most African countries. The truth is hough they only focus on countries like Kenya when they are being bashed first or their pride/ego is being bruised.
Unfortunately, most trash Nigerians who do tend to go to less developed countries with less means for opportunity do go the route. I have also met honest hardworking Nigerians from Kenya at the same time. It still can’t be denied that the best and worst African immigrants do come from Nigeria. Every drug trafficker you can easily find a Nigerian bussinessman. I believe some of you fall the route of purposely stereotyping.
Listen here Guess what? Our country is a shithole like most of Africa. Sad thing for you is that Kenya is not exempt. Giant of Africa? Nigeria only call itself that due to population. Nigerians are the first to bash our country and talk about all the awful things associated. No Nigeria has ever said that Nigeria is doing great. Nigerians don’t want you to bow down to us. We could care less about alot of you foul mouthed heathens. Always trashing Nigerians and stereotyping when we barely say a word to a lot of you. The truth is a lot of you mean spirited and angry for no reason. Imagine you are this angry about a group of people on the other side of the freaking continent. All up in our bussiness and affairs, bragging about how you have electricity while every one else still sees Kenya as a fellow undeveloped country rife with corruption. You are also lying about elecricity being 24/7 throughout Kenya. I have Kenyan friends that say quite differently. They also love complaining how the Indians are doing better than the local population and are very discriminatory. Okay your country is better than us cool. Doesn’t change the fact that it hasn’t risen you to first world status despite your population being less than a quarter of Nigerian population, dealing with less ethnic, religious and political tension, and having started development f you know anything about electiricty in Nigeria, its due to political reasons primarily. This is what I mean. See how I wasn’t even talking about Nigeria the country itself, but about the bashing of Nigerian women for no reason. How many Nigerian women are even in Kenya? Yes, as if Kenyans are some perfect beings who haven’t been busted for scams and drug traffiking. Okay, please continue. Hateful human being…
Actually, you didn’t even answer my question at all. You just had to release your hate for Nigerians. My question was why do East Africans like bashing Nigerian women and speak as if they have any authority to speak on us?
LOL our people are too loud? Have you met Kenyans abroad? They should be the last one talking about someone else being loud. I love them but they can shout chai
Thank you for your honest and nonhateful comment. I appreciate it brother.
\most Nigerians I personally know are fraudsters. They mostly live not less than 4 guys. They go for the upmarket sections of the city, get a 2 br apartment worth 90k / month and share the rent among 6 men. So much for fake it till you make it. They mostly want to live in places with cheap internet. And they spend lots of time on their macbooks, downloading online photos of some random people and creating profiles with them to scam their relatives. 419 is live and kicking in Kileleshwa, Kilimani, Adams Arcade, Roysambu, Kasarani, Kayole, Umoja…they are every goddamn place. I know three great business men though. In downtown Nairobi, doing some good work. And they are all igbo. Suffice to say, Yorubas are too loud and unfriendly. Last I interacted with a bunch they were all “abeg abeg…omo egbere go commot naaa…olushere gberegbere gbogbo…” whatever.
What do guys have to do with anything I said? Did some of you not read what I wrote and just went by the title?
Browsing through this forum just right now I can find some nasty comments about Nigerian women. We get that you largely find us ugly/repulsive but why so much vitirol and hate for a group of women you’ve had minimum interactions with? It would make sense if this was reciprocated.
This has nothing to do with Nigerian men…if you want to air your issues with the Nigerian men in Kenya this isn’t what this topic is about.
Oh, about Nigerian women…this is what your average Nigerian woman sounds like and looks like around here…so yeah. It wont be hard for you to pinpoint her, just watch

Can you elaborate?
The only thing I admire about Nigerians is that they’re proud of their culture, they’re not as awed by white people or foreigners as us foolish Kenyans. They don’t bother to acquire accents, if you don’t understand what they say then that’s your problem. They find ways of Africanizing even western trends. Having said that, Nigeria is a sleeping giant and will probably remain so for decades. It is allegedly Africa’s biggest economy, yet this doesn’t inspire pride. You look at it and you’re like “if this is Africa’s best, do I really want to know what Africa’s worst looks like?”. About Kenyans being hostile towards their women, I honestly don’t know where this came from, as sometime back when Nollywood was all the rage in Kenya, Nigerian actresses were worshiped just as much as their Hollywood counterparts. I don’t know when that changed. Your films are quite nauseating, to be honest. That’s just my opinion.
What I’m saying is, apart from the cultural pride, everything else about Nigeria screams shithole.
Whatever you sent doesn’t work. Even then, you do realize Nigerians are 180 million people? Its always the one who have barely met any of us that have the most insults and things to say about us and our looks. Sorry Kenya got all the ugly ones.
