@Terrence_ so then your original post was misleading because you didnt indicate that the accompanying message was the problem, it seemed like you were indicating that posting a pic while holding a gun was the problem. Which isn’t.
@0%_Omera the law is what should govern this type of situation, not “dynamics”. The picture on its own is not a problem as long as he isn’t a minor handling the firearm without supervision, and as long as he isn’t exposing the gun’s serial number and also as long as he is licensed and has all the valid paperwork. The most they can do, legally, is to start monitoring him. The only real issue here is that he posted a threatening message with the pic. That would be the only ground for arrest even if he has satisfied all the other requirements.
