Success & progress can be quite the illusion. We make fun of people who settle but ambition is torturous if you don’t learn how to be satisfied. Ambition becomes almost like greed because after each new milestone achieved, chasing the next one consumes the mind. One is no longer at peace because they’re never satisfied.
Richness is not a cure for a disease like meningitis or depression.
Jesus is.
These kids are pressured by adults to live up to a certain standard. That takes its toll.
As long as you don’t argue that depression is satanism.
I said it’s demonic oppression not satanism. Satanism is the worship of Satan.

Apart from materialism never satisfying their soul, sometimes, i do think that rich people, especially rich kids, never went through tough and difficult times in life that, perhaps, could have strengthened their will to live and fight another day. This is why most of the rich kids find it easy to commit suicide when something don’t go their way. They easily feel threatened with challenges. You find just an altercation with their parents makes them do the unthinkable.

Jesus is not, developing authentic and unconditional self-love is the solution
Jesus is the embodiment of unconditional love. While we were yet sinners Jesus died for us. Greater love has no man than this for barely will a man die for a righteous man but Jesus died for the unrighteous.
Humans are social beings. They can only be what they have seen. If you have never seen a great love how can you love yourself. The Bible says nothing can separate us from the love of God. Not even death.
Nobody who has accepted and esteemed the great love of God can dare harm themselves, they know that they are a living sacrifice and that they are not their own and they were bought at a very high price. When you imagine all the sacrifices God made and still makes for you, how will you feel so worthless to kill yourself. Your life has worth simply bcz Jesus died for you. If riches and worldly love or popularity gave human life worth why is it that rarely do poor people kill themselves. Clearly we and others cannot give self esteem only Jesus sacrificial and unconditional love can. Stop lying to yourself. And FYI suicide is demon driven. Even you if you are not careful with all your self love philosophies you will find yourself killing yourself.
I disagree but I respect the fact that you believe in something.
I think to kill oneself one has to reach a point where there appears to be completely no purpose in life. If you have something to look forward to in the day (even simple things like tasting a great Danish pastry, hehe), visiting some exciting place, or completing some difficult task, you’ll be too preoccupied to have time for death. Boredom opens the mind up to temptation to do something outrageus, like dropping from a 7th floor balcony to see if you’ll float downwards.
Nihilism is probably not to blame for suicide.

I hate to be insensitive but since we are not addressing any particular suicidal person, pardon me. I think suicide is often an escape route for cowards. They can’t face something so they’d rather exit left. Many suicide notes also point to some delusional people who think they are “punishing” someone they left behind.
