why central will vote Ruto

The central part of Kenya will vote for Ruto coz they want to remove a notion that they always vote for their own. It will be a surprise to cord who expect PK to run against WSR.

We are ready to to be led by someone else… Someone who is not of our blood, we are ready to vote SR in 2022

“we” ? You have only 1 vote.

Real Reasons

  1. Because they don’t want to be slaughtered like chickens again.

  2. See reason 1

Definitely not OK . Moi Era of regime where you are appointed by a political affiliation and not qualification

The moment Kenyans stop using ‘we’ when describing their political convictions will mark the day that the monster that is tribalism will begin crumbling like a house of cards. ‘We’ normally denotes ‘our’ tribe in the Kenyan politics context. How i wish ‘we’ denoted those united by a common political philosophy regardless of the tribe.
It is ever ‘we’ once it comes to voting but once you lack fees for your kids, you discover the song is ever ‘i alone with my problems’.
If your tribe feeds you, then you should follow its political convictions. Come next year, politicians will sing ‘we must unite…blah blah blah’ but once elected, you will be lucky to ever meet your governor, Mp or whatever.
WHEN WILL THE KENYAN VOTER EVER REALIZE THAT POLITICIANS TREAT US AS MERE VOTING ROBOTS AND NOTHING ELSE???
Today, as Kamau in Uhuru’s gatundu drinks his chang’aa on an empty stomach, so is Owiro in Orengo’s siaya.
Do not succumb to the ‘WE’ ideology. Subscribe to the ‘I myself’ ideology.
Neither Uhuru nor Raila cares whether you eat or not.
*** it is Uhuru and Ruto who are ‘united’ not the common kikuyu and Kalenjin. The two tribes were mere pawns in a game of self preservation perpetuated by the two ICC suspects. When the two tribes voted for the duo, they simply mistook uhuruto’s personal interests as their interests as well. Come next year and those huge queues will not be composed of voters but of ignorance and tribalism. I can bet my two kidneys that very few kikuyus will be able to tell you what will be contained in Jubilee’s manifesto immediately before voting. The same applies to Luos and Cord or whatever else ‘super alliance’ will be forced into the minds of Raila’s supporters.

A substantial % of voters spend very little time thinking about elections/economics/state policy etc, they don’t read opinion columns, they don’t have the time to protest or even understand what’s being protested. They think about politics during the election period and by that time there too little time to catch up. So they do what we do when facing choices; they choose what’s familiar. So they choose their tribesman or what other people in the tribe are talking about. Shorthand
