I believe the Bing Open AI is ready for mass rollout. The only explanation for why they were holding back was to try avoid this exact scenario.
Google has been viciously pushing traditional search in the past decade while buying all AI startups and making them move another direction like driverless cars to keep them off search AI. But Open SI slipped through their fingers.
My opinion is that Bing was told to hold back since most investors there also likely have exposure to alphabet stock. They were trying to give google a soft landing hoping they will not be obliterated once Bing AI launches. That seems to have been a dream.
At this point the CEO needs to go. His focus has been promoting obsessive wokeness at googloo instead of working on the search AI.
This could trigger the new dot com bubble burst. Tech companies are all quietly laying off 100sof thousands of employees in a staggered strategy hoping no one will notice shit has hit the fan
