This week has been pivotal for us women to take a good long look in the mirror. Let’s stop blaming men and take some accountability because we can’t change men. We can only change ourselves. Why are we staying in toxic relationshits,why are we having children with men who don’t love us and men who abuse us. How can a man rape you 4 times and you still get pregnant 3 times for him? Like the new trophy wife story? How can a man cheat on his wife with you but you still trust him with your money and even go ahead to have his child not understanding that such a man is incapable of being loving and having integrity. I know the patriarchy has brainwashed us women but when do we learn from it and outgrown that brainwashing with all the beauty and the beast fairytales? At what point do we take back responsibility for our safety, happiness, peace of mind, integrity and financial autonomy? Why must we always lean on men even when they are doing nothing for us and are actually bad for us. Self introspection is the only way out because men are not going to hand over their privilege to us women. If I was a man I wouldn’t either. So it’s all up to us. Time to be adults and take responsibility for our lives in every aspect.
