First of all Tharaka is a county by its own.Tharaka nithi county.
Chuka is in meru county but it’s just at the boarder if Embu therefore their dialect with the Embu is close/ somewhat similar
But one would say our dialect /Ambeere is somewhat close to the tharaka/ or the kamba as we have sections of Mbeere zimeshikana huko chini na wakamba…there’s Mbeere North Mbeere South …ie siakago kiritiri.
We have very dry areas eg huko kiambere …remember kiambere dam in highschool?
Our cash crop ni matawi AKA muguka.
Mbeere are few …few people. The Embians are more than the Mbeere that’s why we may never get a governor mu mbeere because of the few numbers …the Embians always over power us because of their numbers.eg Wambora ni muembu.
However speaker muturi ni wetu mumbeere
We are peace loving however there’s a time my villagers pelted the MP with stones na wakamfukuza for non performance
We are also known for serious uchawi…which I don’t believe in.we are experts at mogoka farming : everyone grows it at their backyard including my grandmother.I was not brought up in Mbeere but obviously I do take my kids oftenly to know their roots/ see their grandmother and uncles plus we have an ancestral shamba.
I’ve been with enough kyuks to fill a Modern Coast, yet I can’t tell the differences between them. I just know whether dark or light skinned they are all so pretty.
