Am in Nanyuki and my sweetness and I stopped to have breakfast since when we left Nrb it was too early to eat. Now there’s a hotel owned by a kiyuk across the road from Al Nusra cafe. So Daddy boo is like tukule hapo, am like bae tuende Al Nusra. So tukaingia the one MacDaddy wanted tukaitisha chai nduma. Wah! Nduma smelling stale tukatoka tukaenda Al Nusra opp. KPLC fresh,fresh,fresh. Am like frankly why are we not serious like Somalis in business? Papi was anti eating in a Somali hotel,nikamshow, they don’t do left overs but msapere hawezi mwaga food ikibaki. Surely, why are many indigenous Kenyans especially in hotel industry not serious. Spoiling your reputation to make money in business will be your undoing. This why Africans keep closing businesses bcz of this lack of ethics and foresight. Bora u make money today who cares abt customer retention? Why? Why? Why? Are we mediocre?

Next time Dormans, Coffee Shack, Java or 360 meals for full English breakfast.

Ferking hell how dumb can one person get. Who are indigenous Kenyans? Somalis have been living in North Eastern Kenya before the phrase “Kenyan” was coined. Somalis are as indigenous Kenyan as any other tribe, Jinga Kabisa.

They have never been squatters, may be Somali refugees but Kenyan Somalis are natives whose ancestral lands are Wajir, Garissa and Mandera so sijui where you get the notion that they are not indigenous.

Which hotel in Malindi? I know them all. Ya muarAbu ama ya mgiriama? Ama ya mtu wa bara? I heard of Watu wa bara hotels,but I never stepped there bcz I prefer pwani food,made by mwenyeji not a learner wa Bara.

Well, I don’t know that one. Most Arabs employ locals to serve. Arabs communal lifestyle makes them rather immaterialistic. If an Arab works alone or with others ni kama Wahindi. They must go for prayers, quickies and even afternoon siesta. They understand something we Africans do not, money isnt the only goal in life or even the most important! I love that about them. Family,faith, bonding with frens and relaxation is important to them. I had an Arab crush who would close his shop for 3 hrs over lunchtime,I asked him if he’s worried about the money he loses. He said,money you can recover but never time missed with God and family. I’ve never forgotten that. And true to his word his shop is crowded weneva open. Even humans respect principled people! What we lack is to be principled bcz if we were we wouldn’t sell bad food to customers.
