I am planning to Hike Mt Kenya before this year ends and I need a few people. Concurring it with a group will be more fun and cost friendly
I am thinking of Mt Kenya Chogoria Route that is said to be the most scenic route.
It will take like 4 days and estimated to cost not more than 32k

I have been there. just beware that road comes to an end before you get to the lake. you have so walk some distance over tiny steep hills that are adjacent to each other. you may feel very tired because of the thin air. kuna caves za maumau huko. how the managed the cold I have no idea. it too harsh even for trees to grow. its also chilling even when sun is high. the lake is very cold and makes skin dry, chilled and scaly if you like wash in it. rivers and the lake there are crystal clear you can take a pic of the bed.

Mimi anything to do with cold anything hapana. I once went to my shags in July and got frost bite on my face yet I never left the house. Like sunburn but worse. Had to get a peel to be back to normal again. PAnything at the Coast or any place that isnt cold is fine. Baridi no thanks. My shags is near the mountain and that’s enough cold for one lifetime.
