Who is still listening to the radio?

Aside from watu ya ocha na mahali akuna electricity, and those of us in commute who are forced to tune into some shitty reggae or talkshow

What I want to know is, who has TV and access to the internet but still turns on a radio

I gave up on those archaic frequency waves almost two decades ago when they canceled XFM

I do listen to 98.4
No harm in that, there are select programs i can not miss on.
What’s your point again?

Just curious if it’s really dying out. 98.4 was my favorite as well, while everyone was obsessed with Homeboyz and hot96

Old habit kwa wazee. Wanakuwa na radio.

Galaxy radio is a must.

My Alexa is set to turn on BBC radio every morning. I have a real physical radio as well in my Nai home and other homes

Radio ya nini ukiwa na harman kadon portable speaker unajiwekea ngoma unataka. Ni better than kuskiza mtu anaongea mob kwa radio.

I think radio is still good for that random exploration vibe. For people who are tired of choosing and just wanna be pleasantly surprised by something they haven’t heard before, those who want to discover new things

The banality of those presenters made me quit radio

Sundowner has to chill with their myriad of ads. It’s unnecessary but I listen for old time’s sake.

And what exactly is New on Radio nowadays? 98% of the time they discuss issues raised from social media.

Those News guys on Tiktok and podcasts ndio wanamaliza radio talkshows kabisa. Radio is DEAD!

And people who listen to Patanishow Show should be located and nuked out of the face of this Earth. As a country we cannot progress with such thinking.
