Mbona sisi Africans are very quick to say Christianity is a white man’s religion ( Look at people like Ngugi wa Thiongo and many more philosophers, politicians, academicians, some K-Talkers etc who castigate Christianity)
Lakini the same people hawana shida with the White Man’s education, technology, white man’s lifestyle such as housing, traveling and language, etc. In fact, they benefit from it. Example of Ngugi wa Thiongo- With all talk against White’s man religion, uses White man’s language in his novels, lives in white man country, etc. I went to USIU- Africa, and we had many people running around saying Christianity was imposed on Africans. Yet they were comfortable learning in English and taking vacations in the USA and Europe. They had no problem dreaming of marrying white people and living in the same countries. The Current European life-style has been built upon centuries of practicing religion.
Finally, does it matter if Christianity was brought to us by the white man? Would have it mattered if it was introduced by Chinese? Let us not be cherry-pickers.
