While Disillusioned Bonobos Pray For Rain , Arabs Are Growing Wheat In The Desert Without Drama

When I say that #NIABM this exactly what I mean.

In November Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, sowed the seeds on the 400-hectare land.

The project’s first phase has taken off splendidly, with the harvest expected to happen in the next few months. The second phase of the project aims to expand the area to 880 hectares by 2024 and cover 1,400 hectares by 2025

The irrigation system, powered by artificial intelligence, is one of the farm’s standout features.

The crops are watered by 13-meter irrigation lines, and a state-of-the-art irrigation station provides water to the wheat farm through six large suction pumps capable of providing up to 60,000 cubic meters of water throughout the day.

The water is transported from the Hamda station through a 13-kilometer conveyor line to the farm.

Sheikh Sultan took the opportunity to inspect the irrigation station during his visit.

The farm’s transformation is a testament to the UAE’s pioneering spirit, commitment to sustainability, and belief in achieving the impossible.

Someone has a PhD in Botany and all they can do is call profits of doom to pray for the plants to grow.
Smh.
Sijataja mtu.

We even import rice and Potatoes from Egypt while Tana’s water to the ocean and potatoes rot in Ol Kalou

#NIAM

If kenya was a country in those desert areas tungekuwa tume cease ku exist uko ma 1930s…with leaders who get off on seeing their citizenry suffer ata tuka blessiwa na oil gas gold ama ata polonium hatuwezi saidika

Tutatii

NO.

Tungekuwa tumemea Akili and skills to survive.

Europe iliendelea Kwa sababu ya Winter

@Ndindu they pray five times daily

si niliona lake naivasha inaoverflow hata lake baringo… pia kuna lake victoria.
Kuna ile pipeline haitumiki inatoka mombasa hadi kisumu, si watumie hio kutransport maji kutoka kisumu iende kwote nchini, lake victoria haiwezi isha maji.

All Rift Valley lakes are overflowing due to the heavy rains of 2021 in Ethiopian highlands. Lake Turkana has reclaimed thousands of acres along it’s shores, same with Baringo.

Can’t this water be used to irrigate?

But again #NIABM, #NIAS

Keep consoling yourself with counter arguments but sijasikia UAE wakipewa masaada wa chakula despite being 100 times drier than Kenya. They manage their Oil properly unlike here where we can even manage a tiny fund such as NSSF.

Malisa @Ndindu bottom faggot.

This kind of machinery already exists in Kenya like pale Delamere farm in Naivasha.

This kind of irrigation infrastructure doesn’t seem too expensive or complicated. It just needs relatively flat, arable ground and a permanent river or lake water source.

We have plenty of flat arable land in the East and Southern parts of Kenya e.g., Tana River County, Garrisa, Narok, ukambani that can be irrigated from our lakes and rivers in the central, rift and western parts of Kenya.

Imagine what we could do if we spent $3.6 Billion on irrigation like we spent on the SGR?

What about the huge Coal deposits we have pale ukambani but we cannot utilize? I understand we need consent from Wingereza or something in those lines

hizo zimewekwa pending ndio last option wakimaliza kughula hii upande ingine

What is Ke good at?

Mazee. Although we tried Galana Kulalu irrigation scheme and maize cartels conspired to kill it.
