I are always wonder where do this money suddenly comes from?
Mtu akikula hakulangi yote. Unabakishanga kidogo ya ‘just in case’.
While growing up, whenever we had visitors, mum alikuwa anatoa sahani mpya mpya ‘za wageni’ alafu chakula tamu tamu zinapikwa hadi you wonder where has all that been.
Hiyo tabia ilitoka hapo.
Nowonder hiyo tabia nimeikataa kwangu kabisa. Sahani zote zinatumika daily by everyone na mgeni akija anakula whatever iko frijini.
Sweeping the streets for a day is nothing.
The real money is lost here:

Just throwing this out there …In every budget there’s always a miscellaneous provision. So just maybe that’s where…
Its true, I remember in my area there was a very big pothole back in 2014 you had to go round it and get of the tarmac to avoid it. There had been several accidents thanks to this hole and nothing was being done. I complained on social media, raised the issue with my MCA and even visited the county offices only to be told that its being looked into. I gave up and then 2 months down the line I heard that kamwana was coming to launch stuff in the local hospital. i woke up the next day and the hole had been sealed perfectly.
Even me I are always wonder
