Where are they getting the chums to buy Homes worth KES 200m+ in Kenya?

I have been studying the real estate in Kenya and it appears that homes in areas like Runda are being sold for around 200m give or take… My question is… who are these people buying these properties?

Bankers, do you have a clue? It baffles me that very few businesses would be making this much in profits to enable the shareholders snap these properties… but they seem to be sold in numbers…

What is hidden? It’s obviously not from employment and not from mortgages… Any clues?

I have been wondering of the same… Because, as a businessman, it simply does not make any sense… 200m for a residential house means that you are raking in billions in revenue for several years… Not many are making that kind of money in Kenya and those who do are logical to spend it wisely…

all rational businessmen keep their fixed living expenses as low as possible, and use surplus funds to expand their business.

That therefore leaves the buyers of such properties to Government thieves… ama namna gani? I know that there a few seriously liquid fellows with clean money… but that is not what is certainly driving the demand…

Such homes sit for years. 200m means 2-3 acres. Eventually owner subdivides land into 0.5 acre plots and sells in pieces.

Do they also subdivide the 200 million shilling homes that sit on half acres in Runda and Karen ?

No. They are on 0.5 acre and sold for between 150m and 350m… Half Acre!

Property24 defaults everything to 0.5acres.

Sure… And the girls know that they are in the market so no loyalty… it does not make economic sense for someone to buy a flat for such girls… but of course after stealing billions, the temptation to spend 10m pocket change is really high… and trust me the sponsor will be salimialing many more men with the girl at the centre…

Haentel Wanjiru is in the UK enjoying a lifestyle local Brits can’t afford. It’s plausible that Amason Kingi wired her dozens of millions at some point. We contend therefore that these wababas actually spend millions on these women. After all, a lot of their wealth is looted from gov’t coffers. How else are 25 year old damsels taking trips to Europe, living in Westlands, driving SUVs, and wearing designer everything all the fucking time? Someone has to be funding that lifestyle given that these women don’t own any cash generating assets. Pussy for the win!

I think that is why I decided to open this topic… if that is the case, we should get angry, very angry and do something about it!
