What I usually fail to understand is how we came to fill the earth yet there were only two people from the beginning, Adam and Eve. They got two kids, Cain and Abel. Both were male. From there the Bible is vague of human existence. Did Cain and Abel marry? Who did they marry? Where did the women come from since they existed the two of them?
Adam and Eve had more children apart from the two you mentioned.

Adam and Eve’s children’s DNA contained a lot more genetic diversity than ours. They basically had enough genetic variation for all the races and any other phenotypic characteristics known to mankind. They could birth a child with brown, black, green or blue eyes. Short, tall, thin, fat and everything in between. Therefore, even though they committed “incest” in order to propagate the human race, that definition isn’t as grievous as todays.
