It’s true, that phone looks really stunning. And the camera? Wueh!!!

But apart from that, what else are you buying at 50+K? Yaanî, ngili mîongo îtano? Ngiri fyfte?

NOTHING!

The handset is using the helio g95 chipset, which is arguably inferior to the much older snapdragon 720g in almost all quarters! The phone is made of gorilla glass 5 mbele na nyuma, which is good, but with a PLASTIC FRAME! The display is super amoled, alright, but only 1080 p. There is no dust proofing, no waterproofing, no special features, no NOTHING!

In comparison, the LG Velvet is older, uses snapdragon 720g, is dustproof, waterproof, has nfc, oled screen, it is much more beautiful and it is significantly cheaper. It is a very unique slate that will turn heads wherever and whenever you whip it out, so you buying yourself class and style.

How will the Tecno Phantom X fare if we put it into comparison with the similarly priced Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Note 10 Light, LG V40 thinQ, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, OnePlus 6T, etc, etc, all of which are superior to the LG Velvet?

Phones still turn heads when you ‘whip’ them out?

You live a very little life

Niaje borana

Yes, they do, Sir, especially those that cost tons of shillings!

Since I don’t plan becoming an Instagram model, my phone won’t go beyond 20k.

Other than Huawei or Xiaomi, no Chinese phone is worth over 30k

You’re better off buying five raspberry pi and getting a mid-range Nokia for that money. You can have a home media system and a phone with genuine features and a linux kernel that’s not from 8 years ago.
