Tsavo elephants 1950.
Before the white man built a railway line across it.

In 1950 the railway was already over 50 years old.

It was Uhuru’s mother who killed most of the elephants’ population in Kenya.
Now his son has taken over and he’s almost killed the economy.
East Africa particularly Kenya was best known for big game hunting. The railway made it easer to access the hinterland. The white men killed more elephants than blacks ever will.

Ni vile Africans hawakuwa na market otherwise if they had known if this market mucg earlier, Africans would’ve participated very quickly. And as the white man did the killing of wild game Africans didn’t protest. In fact it provided food and employment.
Africans made a few shillings as guides, trackers, porters, watchmen and cooks on bush safaris.
Secondly land was needed for human settlement and large scale agriculture. The whole of Nairobi city was one big animal park. Kenyans wangekuwa wanaishi wapi and yet mnatombana na kuzaana and you need space for a house and a shamba for food ?
We have also seen drug dealers in Mombasa who are also big time poachers e.g Abubakar Mansur Mohammed Surur, the Akashas and Feisal Mohamed Ali :
Conservationists Hail Arrest of Notorious Wildlife Trafficker in Kenya
It appears that these trophies are trafficked along the same routes used by drug dealers.
Hunting was LEGAL in Kenya until 1974 and anyone could apply for a license to hunt and export trophies including ivory. Today hunting is still LEGAL in many countries eg tanzania, uganda, zimbabwe, botswana, Africa de sud aka South Africa etc.

Human beings are cancer to planet earth. See what we have done to nature.
Jezebel hakua ameanza poaching then
This photo was taken during a drought, the elephants were on their way to a watering hole. Elephants don’t normally congregate in huge numbers as depicted in the photo as no land can sustain their collective feeding
Kuna scene ingine kwa movie the matrix where agent Smith is torturing Morpheus, anamwambia venye humans when they go to a place they procreate to the point where there is no balance between the human population and the ecosystem. He then says there is only one other organism that behaves in a similar way, a virus. Humans are like a virus.
The movie ‘The matrix’ was ahead of its time in so many ways.
Think he meant those tusks represent so many elephants killed that if they stood ina queue wangestretch out 60kms
The Matrix franchise movies to this date are always ahead of time. The reasoning behind the sequences and story telling in the movies was superb and amazing.
