his is a misguided mentality, a car is a basic necessity especially if you have a family and you will use it in your daily endeavors to make more money, the only time I can discourage one from buying a car is when buying the the car only for leisure

If you can comfortably afford it, buying a car for leisure isn’t a bad thing either… No point in denying yourself some luxuries of life because of fear of spending money, as long as you’re smart, you should be able to enjoy some luxuries life has to offer.
