For most guys getting out of your parents house as a adult is to enjoy life in ways they don’t prescribe to. Wondering now that you’ve had it all, when do they start visiting. Hapa wakam naona I have to act sana 
When my elder bro was kicked out mum would visit him for that month every sunday buying him some basic necessities since he was jobless.
My father being the controlling type I wouldn’t like him to visit my place he wouldn’t be a guest but instead will act like he owns the place.

Hehe… @old monk yako ni kali. Kwetu we dont grow up in parent’s house from about age 13. So the only valid question for people like me is when we got our own place that parent doesnt own or pay for.

they usually start visiting after getting married and having a kid especially the mom. my old man has visited me only once in my house…hehe…oldskool he is but got mad respect for him.

Am saying that where I come from you are built your own house when you are cut, which happens at 13. You cant stay with mommy at all.
the next step is to build yours when you are able to.
Your daddy can have a mansion but will build your small house/hut when you get cut. traditionally, village young men used to build it, but today’s world and schooling demands that the parent builds it.
