heheh the last time I stayed at home for a whole year was when I was in class five, I was in boarding school since class six and hizo siku tuition ilikua from class seven so I only used to stay at home in December, however, when I turned 19 I was off to campus and never really came back home, the most I have stayed was from Friday to Monday, my first Job was getting paid 10k and I took a house for 3500 bob in Ongata Rongai stage ya kwanza my daily meal was mix ugali ya 35 bob jioni.
But moving out early is a good thing, most niggas want to move out of their parents’ house and move into a two bedroom house with leather seats, an LCD screen, fluffy carpets Fridge etc, it does not work that way and before you know it you will be 35 years old with numerous baby mommas staying in your parents’ extension na umeudhi baba yako yake yote ni ile tu hawezi kuambia hehe.
Personally the only thing I had to my name was a bed, mattress some utensils and a gas cylinder

I moved out when I was 23, yeah I know I outlived my welcome but it was all down to circumstances. First I got born-again before I joined campus which happened to be close to home, second, dad was living in another country so someone had to stay at home with Mum thanks to the terrible spate of insecurity back then.
By 2013 I had gone back to my evil ways and I felt uncomfortable living at home so I rented a kabedsitter in a town a few kiliometres away from home with only a mattress, stove, basins and some utensils. I totally loved it.

Maybe kikuyus from mashambani. Urban or rich kikuyu mothers really spoil and favour boys. So unless dad is strict, the boys are true mommy’s boys…
