Chimpanzee wameshika naree. Kenyan men are too busy body and controlling. If she wore a saree what would you be saying, her stomach would still be showing. The height of pettiness.
Her dress , her choice … :D:D

It’s not acceptable in African culture.

What’s in a dress? The impression it leaves. I’m sure if you met the woman in purple you wouldn’t remember her face, but if you met someone in a similar dress you would remember the picture.
I once wanted to wear a saree but the stomach bit diverted me to Rwandan traditional dress.
Sarees are nice, but they can be designed with a camisole to cover the belly if you don’t feel bold.
Mouthwatering … :D:D

Would You remember the lady or the dress here …??? :D:D

Hehe, The dress pales against the hair and the derriere:D
Its the way I am raised. Conservative. I like the Rwandese one but not with no shoulders and sleeves. I have never seen a saree with a cami, post a photo.
You won’t get one being sold like that so I can’t get you a photo. A saree is normally made so there’s a slice of your belly showing. You’d have to have your seasoned tailor improvise one with a similar cloth. There are a few dexterous ones who can give it that modest look, without ruining the original.
How did it occur to you? Its never crossed my mind that a saree can have a camisole and I am those people who watch project runway religiously. Maybe you should have been a designer.
Here is another idea for the saree, Gianni Versace Lionheart
Hehe, I’m many things, but a clothes designer isn’t one of them. I just happen to know a thing or two about many ‘useless’ things.
Dare to be different … :D:D
