As someone who recieves 4 complimentary tickets every year i can gurantee you will not find the hidden gems at the homes expo…
There is no right or wrong answer to your question. Shop around and find what you like. Dont be the kind of person who does things just because of so and so. Buying a house or building is a lifetime investment. Have a list of all the things you need in a house. Eg.
Office, nice lawn, en suite, bungalow or maisonette, servants quarter, gated community and shit like that.

25m is a very good amount, for me I’d buy two houses not one, Or build.
Hapo ndipo. Secondly keep your options open. Buying not recommended. Not to say you cannot land a priceless gem. Building on the other hand is tricky. Unless you are really hands on and an ‘expert’ - too many players, you are likely yo be ripped off.
Why don’t you buy a 1/4 at Migaa Golf estate (11million) and build a dream house for the remainder? 25 million is good money but Kahawa sukari and membley I feel are not as prestigious as Migaa or some places along kiambu road. (You will be breathing air from Ruda). Just be very selective about where you build your future dream home.

IMO, if he’s building a family home and has 25 million, why not go for the best that money can buy?
houses in gated communities never appreciate in value. its wise to rent in controlled area than owning. after 20 years all your neighbors will be broke na watoto wao watakua wanasumbua watu around.
