I have quoted this from History of Madina Jews.
rabs were idols worshipers and Jews were telling them that one day that prophet will come out and we will follow him and the Jews will unite against pagans. The surprise was that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was not a Jew, but he was an Arab, son of Ishmael . He came from Mecca (north Medina hundreds of miles) and while he was preaching Islam in Mecca, some people of Medina accepted Islam and asked the prophet to send them someone who preach others and teach them the basics. Aus and Khazraj accepted Islam and thus the prophet and most Meccan Muslims immigrated to Medina. So, Aus and Khazraj were united under the name Ansar (supporters).
Banu Qynoqa’ were displaced from Medina because they killed a Muslim inside their market and refused to handle the killers. Banu Al-Nadhir were also displaced from Medina because they tried to assassinate the prophet.
About Banu Quraydha, Most Arabs made allies to fight against Muslims. They gathered more than 10000 fighters and Muslims at that time were 3000 fighters. Medina was surrounded by mountains except from two sides, north and south. In the north of Medina Muslims decided to make a big trench after the suggestion from Salman the Persian, so nobody can pass. In the south of Medina, there were castles of Banu Quraydha and they assured to protected their sides as their agreement.
However, Banu Quraydha betrayed that agreemrnt and were convicted of a treason. Pagans withdrew and thanks to that Muslims were about to be all killed. Also, at the time of the war, some of Banu Quraydha tried to enter a castle full of women and children.
After the war finished Muslims army moved immediately to the south to deal with the treason. Banu Quraydha gave up. There was a lot of pressure on the prophet from some people that what they did is a total clear treason that could have led to a massacre but you should just displace them out of Medina. The Jewish asked the prophet to select a judge. They selected Sa’ad ben Mua’ath who was their ally before Islam and they thought he would make the judgment a little bit easier, but he also was badly wounded from last battle. He judged that all their adult fighters shall be executed.
That is A-OK. You don’t have to believe in Jesus, that’s your personal decision, you and God.
However, Jesus did not say to kill anyone who doesn’t believe in Him. That’s what Muhammad says and by extension, what Allah mandates. To strike off the head of a kafir.

Why can’t Islam accord that same respect to other religions? Why must disbelievers be killed if they refuse to recite the Shahada or refuse to pay the jizya; when the Islamic state is established according to your beliefs?

Per the Hadith: Muhammed met an angel Gabriel who commanded him to go attack the Jews. This was an offensive attack, not defensive. The Jews didn’t believe he was a prophet so he wanted them killed. They examined all males (those you’re calling adults) for any pubic hair. Muhammed ordered trenches to be dug and he beheaded 400-900 Jewish males until blood overflowed those trenches. Women and children were sold as slaves, the females as sexual slaves. Only one woman who was laughing maniacally was also beheaded. She insulted Allah’s apostle by laughing as he was hacking off heads.

Narrated by Anas:
“As if I am just now looking at the dust rising in the street of Banu Ghanm (in Medina) because of the marching of Gabriel’s regiment when Allah’s Apostle set out to Banu Quraiza (to attack them).”

Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
“I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.”
Book 14, Number 2665:
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu’minin: “ No woman of Banu [tribe] Qurayzah was killed except one. She was with me, talking and laughing on her back and belly (extremely), while the Apostle of Allah . . . was killing her people with the swords. Suddenly a man called her name: Where is so-and-so? . . . I asked: What is the matter with you? She said: I did a new act. [Aisha] said: The man took her and beheaded her. [Aisha] said: I will not forget that she was laughing extremely although she knew that she would be killed.” (Abu Dawud)
