Have you ever enrolled on Lotto Kenya? They are subsidiaries of one company so they just mine and use each other data.

I don’t think so, my Figian boss is barely 1 month in the country and he showed me the same message.
Am sure there is an option of choosing whether to receive any further texts from them. Just opt out instead of whining. That’s what I did with Naivas.

The stupid ones are the ones who send you annoying messages and then charge you to opt out of receiving them.

OK, now I know this case is even worse. That means smartika went the distance in getting the data. Privacy laws in Kenya needs to be enacted.

Same here. I get messages from Lotto and Smartika. I called Safcom, they gave me Lotto CC numbers to call, I asked to be removed from their list. I still get those messages.

Lotto is a bug…they are pesky pests…we need to petition the service providers.

If I got as many mpesa messages as those annoying LOTTO messages I get I’d be building aka three rivers Mall somewhere around river nzoia na huko… Too annoying.
