But the politicians are ruining their good name with corruption.

I socially like Jaruos and Kalenjin. They are lively and can help you if you just know how to live with them and avoid politics. Kuna some places you are openly rejected and told to go back to your home eg North Eastern, most pastoralist tribes etc
