What is this really about?

Today some lady showed up at my place and explained that she’s with an organization called Evidence Action and that they’re doing research to facilitate issuing deworming medicine and water sanitizers to households.

However, all her questions were akin to those found in ID application forms.

What is you name?
Which is your clan?
Do you have a nickname?
How do your neighbors call you?
What is you age?
What are the last two digits of you phone number?
If someone wanted to find you, what direction would you give them and how would they ask for you?

I felt this type 0f information is too intrusive and somehow doesn’t relate to health as there was no question related to health issues.
So I asked, how is this information related to deworming and issuing the community with water sanitizers?

Ati this is just preliminary research as they will sample those interviewed and conduct further research.

I was very suspicious because of the detailed nature of the questions and the obvious lack of questions related to health.

I’ve never participated in government research interviews before. So i’m wondering is it legit health research or what is this all about? Why would anyone want to know my nickname for a health research? Ama is it something to do with upcoming elections?

Apparently, it’s supported by the aforementioned organization as well as KEMRI (kemri ref: KEMRI/SERU:009/3301)

I took photos of some of their documentation.

Ungewaambia hutaki sanitizers. Those questions are too intrusive lakini. Kwani namba ya simu inaindicate ni minyoo ngapi uko nayo? Ala!

Evidence Action looks like a legit organization involved in deworming as part of their program.

Whether or not the chic is legit is another issue. Give fake answers to those personal questions. That wont skew the results if any…and you protect yourself if its a phishing scam.

Then tell Shirley you have a giant worm you need her to have a look at.

Very suspicious. I cannot give you shit when you have a yahoo email :D:D:D:D

Ati your clan?
You might be the worm.

have you googled dr karim?

Inakaa wanatafuta Louise the pest

Found no relation to that research coz the one on the Internet is a dentist. However, I true called the number provided and it reads somebody related to KEMRI.

Maybe somebody is misusing the research documentation to collect other types of personal data .

It is walks, talks, smells or feel like a scam … it is a scam. Get rid of her prompto next time.
