I learnt the hard way that the real women entrepreneurs rarely mentor or give advise to younger women in matters business. Hawa wengine wa “women business meeting” are mostly trophy wives who ride on the hubbies success’s. Wanakuaga na theory kidogo ya biashara ya hussie but ikifika down to the nitty gritty, hawajui any. Watakupa jibu za “I’ll ask hubby and revert”, which they never do. Ukitaka jifunza biashara, kaa na mandume, na uset boundaries mapema. Majority hawana kinyongo and will gladly show you the way if you prove serious and determined.

The best managers in my businesses are women.I.learnt the hard way to keep an institution clean and manage employees is to employ a woman on top.

But most ladies in my business circle unfortunately have the “dependant gene” always waiting for advice,and when given they do not follow at all.

As a lady in business it’s very easy separate your body from your business,You will notice men too have little to offer.

Money has no gender,hardwork,ideas and tough financial choices make an entrepreneur.

A common theme with the businesses undertaken by wives of career men, is anything to do with the beauty industry (Hair Salons, Nail Spas, Cosmetic Shops etc). Wives of serious business men, however, are usually incorporated into their husbands’ business, or get to run a branch of the same.
