A blood pact is a traditional way of putting an agreement into effect in some cultures.It is a common belief among the adherents of traditional religion that there is a mysterious power in every blood because of its close connection with the vital life force which permeates all things.
It is generally used for serious agreements and considered a much stronger binding than a signature or other binding methods. The blood pact requires that all parties shed blood , god gave himself… as his son, he shed blood. The saying ,‘blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb’ means that chosen bonds are more significant than the bonds with family or “water of the womb.” More directly, it means that relationships you make yourself are far more important than the ones that you don’t choose. The flock have chosen yahweh… blood has to be shed
