Sifuna at best is in between two positions. If he’s in ODM, he can’t run. Best he can negotiate is be DP. If he joins opposition, he still can’t run. Best is can be is negotiate run image.
He can try and stand alone, but we know election is largely a tribal affair. Kamba/Kikuyu Wataenda pamoja. Kalenjin/ Split Kisii’/Luo wataenda pamoja. Sasa even if all the Luhyas vote him, what chance does he really have?

Kenyans have excuses to make when time for change arrives, yet these are the same people who were making noise they don’t like Kasongo, yada yada…until it’s time to do something about it, then now …oooh, he is a project, oooh, he’s not the right tribe, etc.
Once they vote Kasongo back, exactly the next day they acknowledge their fault and complain for the next 4 years. Very disheartening people.

Kibaki took power when the world was transitioning from the old era to a modern era. Technology mpya ilikuwa inaingia Africa kuanzia 2000, na country zote za dunia zilipata double digit growth kuanzia 2002 to 2006.
Kibaki alikuwa at the right place at the right time.
