What do I need
Personal Assistant?
PA system for events
You need good PA systems of course. The rest will follow, good marketing, customer relations, networking, value added services such as DJs and MCs, etc.

OK. You will need the tenacity to withstand long frustrating periods before you break into the (nearly crowded) market.
thats discouraging
I know but I didn’t mean it to be. I thought you needed the information so as to prepare yourself. I wouldn’t want you to go the way of a neighbour’s son who had to sell his system, tents and chairs because alishindwa kupenya na alikua anadaiwa. he would get jobs but established players undercut him. All the best.
I have a solar PA system you can buy, for events that need good sounds but are offgrid. You won’t need a generator if you get this. Runs for 10 hours and comes with two microphones.
Speaker and microphone alafu uongeee na uliam akupee tender ya pa system kila mahali anatanga tanga
How much are u willing to spend?
In other words what’s your budget.
70k only
Enda ukule mtura nayo pale kwa kamau
I’m in the business and this is barely enough.
To be competitive in the market look for around 400-500k.
This will enable you to comfortably run an even for 200-500 pax. Or alternatively you’ll do two different gigs at the same time.
Sawa sawa

Let me break it down for you.
You need at least two 15" tops plus stands.
2 18" base speakers.
A player probably numark DJ controller with a mixer.
2 power amps.one for mid range and bass(europower is cheap)
Wireless mic
A laptop.
Case and a rack.
Power and audio cables.
Minimum required is between 150k -200k to start then upgrade slowly.
Done this shit for long but not anymore.
How are the returns?
