RIP to those who lost their lives. So sad. I’ve watched the ‘Wolves at Westgate’ and it’s hard to comprehend why the country is so ill-prepared for emergencies. With due respect for the police and the first responders, the country needs a real disaster response team. Doesn’t have to be big; just a team of 50 to 80 highly trained members. From what I’ve observed (I totally understand that the situation on the ground is different because of all the chaos), a team of 15 well-trained team could have handled the attackers in an hour or less. There are several clear vantage points from where a sniper could have taken these devils out. It’s just a matter of strategy, but it seems like the security teams didn’t have any plans at all, just shooting hoping to hit a target.

I lost a good friend from the recce squad due to hio upuzi ya kdf. RIP masiula
