The attack is painting a bad picture for Nabii’s government given that UK affiliated companies also own thousands of acres in Kenya. By attacking their Head Slave’s farm it is sending a message that in US owned Delmonte and Unilever tea farms can also be targets.
Kesho pia tuko site sijui kama watenda wachimbue grave ya Kenyatta wamtoe hiyo suti yake na Oris watch
Isn’t there a legal way of repossessing the land? You forget that the land was not grabbed but legally acquired though in an immoral way. Read the old katiba
Zimbabwe tried this land-repossession route and it did not go well for them. Peasants taking over farms which they are unable to run or manage, mara sanctions from US, EU, UN mara repossessed land being awarded to corrupt friends of those in power… things will just get worse.
It should be attacks on ALL land that have been unlawfully/immorally acquired starting from the one Kuki Gallman owns, the very many needless ranches/conservancies, the Kenyatta, Moi, biwott, koinange, ndegwa, all homeguards all the way to Weston hotel.
Otherwise if we decide to play politics on land issues, very soon after this government retires, the people will eat their properties too.
All legal options are and have been in the pockets of the beneficiaries of .ke land injustices. The land commission seats there like EACC, deliberately de funged and ineffective.
@Electronics4u ni homeguard, they don’t know the pain of not owning a piece of land, wao walipewa free after kulamba matako ya beberu. Yet calling us tugeges, he is the real kagege
When Jomo Kenyatta was grabbing the land, he lied to Kikuyus that he was doing that for the ‘tribe’ majority of the Kikuyu now look at the the vast Kenyatta grabbed properties as “vitu zetu” even in cases where its those very land injustices that have kept their family poor over generations.
This land injustices situation needs to constantly be brought up…next there should be an invasion on an Arap nyayo property.
