Missus has been quite busy with work and I want take her on an out of town weekend getaway sometime this weekend or the next. So I’d like some suggestions from talkers on an ideal destination that could be on the outskirts of the city and could probably budget at 10k maximum.

Your budget could be a problem . Add about 5k and check online , you have lots of options, from bonfire and the other companies.
Or better yet go to booking.com and find a hotel in mombasa, get the morning SGR be in mombasa by 1400, check into your hotel , enjoy the evening and wake up next day , catch the afternoon SGR. two day would be ideal but your budget.

Fanya kenye huyu amekwambia alafu jua how much utaongeza kwa hio 10k
ongezea pesa lakini. stop living dangerously…beba gas na vitu kama sufuria, teremka mombasa, 2800 to and fro, then elekea pale TIWI for camping (400 for tent). day one mtaswim, day 2 mwende tour around mombasa(fort jesus, biriani kiasi hapo barka, ama marina for juice mkibalizi) jioni back to tent then day 3, mpeleke shopping hapo kongowea na remaining balance…take 3pm train back home.

Or you could just give her the 10k, let her spoil herself sometimes women are better off having some bit of fun without you. But the gesture will be reciprocated.

SGR is fully booked the next 2 weeks. They are considering adding more schedule trains. Hotels in coast are also fully booked the last three weeks of Dec. Basically if you haven’t booked and paid by now forget about it. Try apartments.

-Along Nakuru- Nyahururu rd there is a Bomas of Nakuru(hii si watu wengi wanajua) a very serene place na haina watu wengi. Ingia huko kula sausage, learn some cultures na just have fun. mnaweza beba ball pia kuna field
-Budget ikipanda kidogo Tafaria castle mpande farasi,swim, leisure walk etc (Tunaweza patana huku, angalia tu midget imevaa adibas juu chini na dame yerro yerro hivi)

Those suggestions am keeping in mind for this Dec holidays.
Hiyo barabara ya kwenda Bahati, Kabazi , Subukia all the way to Nyahururu. On your right some place between Bahati and Kabazi utaiona. Iko karibu na some place they sell tealeaves but i forget the name.
Ata mimi niliona tu kibahati nikipiga roadtrip nikaingia nikaona iko fiti sana. Ningeweka mbicha but naona nikama zote ziko na evidence ya mapua yangu…hehe
