lately i have realised that too much talentsb and abilities in the domain of information and technology in kenya. the youths wanaoka campus na skills wazimu sana but end up being freelancers due to lack of oportunities and jobs in the market. the market has started appreciating this domain tho, but in the process, kama si kuface cert apa na pale, skills zinadidimia mdogomdogo. if only the cry can be heard by a person with a capability to make this a reality. kenyans are more tech-aware than they seem

we have skilled youths. the major issues that probably contribute to the shortcoming of minimal applicants is due to inadequate information. also there have been no strategies endorsed to provide a general platform where they get to showcase what they can do. i’m saying this as one of the victims.
nonetheless, a big thumbs up for the likes of Andela, it’s a step towards the right direction. hopefully with time we will have our own DEFCONs too
