Us Nyerians find that pronunciation bad!
How Kiambu people pronounce:
Soso niarehire sukari
you should say
Shushu niarehire shukari

Stop trying to bring up ‘historical injustices’ between those two counties. Most of the folks from the two areas barely tolerate each other.
And they alway insist on correcting you! Hehe
You are wrong too. Correct Gikuyu should be:
Cùcù nìarehire cukari.
It is said Murang’a dialect is the standard dialect ya Nyeri na ya Masira ma gîsomo ni balaa
Ni akina nani wanasemanga Maçaria?
ya muranga ndio Kikuyu halisi…ata kwa Kikuyu radio stations ni vingumu kuskia mtu wa nyeri akisoma news ama Kutangaza…
There’s even a difference in what they speak in Ndeiya and what they speak in Gatundu. No big deal.
Kiambu
You lie, Njogu wa Wachira is a news reader on Kameme and comes from Kangochi area before you get to Karatina.
Kangochi kana Kangoco?
ok elder, i wrote that to emphasis pronouncition
The former unless am mistaken but I know the latter is that ka hill section.
Its the latter…the hill climb after Kiangwaci enroute to Karatina. There is the secondary, the coffe factory and the shopping centre. All bearing the name Kangoco…
Wacha uongo Nyeri hatuna sh, but rather ch
e.g - chuchu aroire sausage aranengere wachira nake wachira aroya sausage na chafachi arachifikia chifi
Gikuyu the language has no CH,SH or F sounds!!
Eh? Don’t they pronounce ‘baba’ as ‘fafa’?
My bad. Words spelt with F,CH or SH do not exist although phonetically the F and CH sounds exist. My linguistics teacher, Mr. Ipu would be dismayed.
