Which is the best bank in making online payments, fast transactions, reliable etc.
Recently nimeona Chase Bank wanaeza toa doo kwa e-wallet yako to MPESA…
Nataka bank iko safe, fast and secure on e-commerce(Amazon,eBay, websites etc)

Bank to mpesa is common in most banks if not all. About ebay you are neither here or there.
TWI TWI BANK
I&M
Although I recommend you use a third party VISA for instance Nation hela
Security will be on the side of the website itself. Although some banks will block transactions from sites that arent very popular until you tell them to authorize the transaction.
Lastly, go with a bank that has favorable forex rates since you will be transacting in different currency.
Also rwnbp
Paypal… Equity Bank officially a paypal partner
I prefer a prepaid card for making online payments.
Difference ya prepaid and postpaid ni gani daktari?
Prepaid us not linked to a bank account. You load it with cash only when you want to make payments. ‘Postpaid’ is what may be referred to as a proper debit card. The cash comes directly from your bank account.
I buy lots of books online since I like physical paper a lot and most of the books I can’t find locally.
It is more advisable if you take a prepaid debit card(nakucard, nation hela, nic one) or open a USD account and get a debit card. Few banks offer USD debit cards though. It is cheaper for you(forex losses) and in case of security flaws on the website’s end haukamuliwi since it is not linked to your checking account.
This is mostly if you are a very frequent online shopper. If you are buying from Amazon, eBay and the likes. Security risk is way lower of course
All banking systems locally use the same underlying technology since it is made by Craft Silicon, Cellulant or Innova. equity was outsourced to some Indian firm. The only difference is the branding
All cards will work as long as it is VISA or MasterCard. Visa is more popular though so I would probably go with a bank that offers visa cards
@grandpa hazandi zanaa…what of KCB pepea card… i tried to use their ATM card but they told me its not whitelisted so i can’t do any transaction with it… they suggested I used Pepea… what’s your opinion on that…
these people have expensive services…service fee too high
Whitelisted? Don’t know about that. You should be able to make payments with it as soon as you are issued with your debit card. Ama they meant that the website you were paying to didn’t accept the type of card you had?..Most probably.
Anyway if you are already a KCB customer makes sense if you take the PEPEA card. It’s MasterCard but I would just go with it.
favorable forex rates
lete list ya banks tusample
go to the banks and ask them.
nation hela doesnt exist anymore
Best solution is Equity Bank. Paypal service is connected to their accounts, so you can receive money and withdraw it from your account! I’ve heard KCB does the same. not sure.
I just bought a card for my cousin last month
