Watch and pray

There is something more dangerous than unpaid bills..and it is a silent, dying prayer life.
Many people panic when money is low.
Many people lose sleep when relationships feel distant.
But the truth is this — nothing should trouble you more than losing your connection with God.
Because when your prayer life starts going down… everything else is already at risk.
When you begin to go days without praying…
Days without opening the Word…
Days without hearing His voice…
That is not something to ignore.
That is not “just a phase.”
That is a spiritual alarm.
The problem is not just busyness.
The problem is not just tiredness.
It is often that something has quietly taken the place of God in your heart.
Because the truth is —
whatever you cannot stay a day without has become your god.
If you can go a whole week without prayer and still feel comfortable, something is wrong.
If your spirit is no longer hungry for God’s presence, something is missing.
If distractions have become louder than His voice, then your altar needs rebuilding.
Listen carefully…
When communication with God becomes rare, confusion becomes normal.
When prayer becomes optional, sin becomes easier.
When the Word is neglected, your strength begins to dry up.
This is why Jesus said in Matthew 26:41,
“Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation.”
Not “watch only.”
Not “pray when you feel like it.”
But watch and pray — because your survival depends on it.
Beloved, your prayer life is not a routine… it is your lifeline.
It is where strength is renewed.
It is where direction is given.
It is where burdens are lifted.
It is where your spirit is aligned with heaven.
