Washing Machine advice .......

I have never used a washing machine but I’m now considering getting one.
Hoping it will be cost effective and time saving.

  1. How thoroughly do the clean clothes ?.

  2. What is the Electricity and water consumption Like for a Family of Four (considering capacity) ?

  3. Which features should consider if I eventually decide to buy one ?

  4. Which are the best models ?

  5. Where can I get the best deal ?

@Inthanite …Kindly check this thread, we had discussed the issue. I got a Lg. Water and electricity depends on your own usage. Damn thing cleans very well, but all buttons buttoned and zips zipped!

Samsung is the best brand followed by LG! But why do you need a machine when there are drycleaners all over and cheap labour!! Well, I don’t do laundry maybe that’s why I don’t get…but my helps too don’t like the damn machine!

Thanks for the Link. Any additional info is welcome.

Try olx… You can get a good deal on a used machine

If you have the money, avoid the likes of Samsung and LG. Go for Japanese brands.Samsung and LG are packed full of features, work fine for 2 to 3 years (if you are lucky), then trouble begins.

@Yollo Thanks but I’m scared of used Electronics.

Ni kama allergy.

For first details of a washing machine look here: https://www.jumia.co.ke/catalog/?q=washing+machines

Capacity of the machine for 4 6-7 kgs

Normal life span of a machine is at least 10 years (if you don’t wash stones in it and properly handled)

And after calculating that powr consumption difference, how was it since you began using the machine, and how often do you use the machine…

So far so good. Most of this modern machines have been designed in such a manner that both power and water consumption is conserved. Am happy with mine

pea mamanguo kazi.
advantages;:
1)anapiga pasi na kuzikuja
2)dry spell ikizidi(balls bluer than the sky) unakamua

Ha ha, that’s a touchy subject. I have borne the village wrath for saying I can’t ferk a ‘mama nguo’ courtesy of @aviator.
