SGR has started carrying general cargo directly from the ships to the train following the completion of relief line connecting Berth 1-10 and SGR Port Reitz cargo station. The Ship to Rail gantry cranes are also installed and working. So apart from TEU’s containers, its now carrying clinker, coal etc general cargo. The promised efficiency has materialized.
