Kennedy Ombima alias King Kaka says he has been summoned by officers of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) at their Kiambu headquarters.

The rapper recently released a hard-hitting anti-corruption song titled ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’ that exposes voter ignorance and “stupidity” in Kenya and how it is manifested in the election and re-election of crooks. He is to appear before the authority at midday.

On Monday, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru ordered the artiste to pull down the song from all social media platforms and apologise to her in writing or face legal suit.
SEE ALSO :Business lessons from rapper RussWaiguru accused King Kaka of defaming her in a verse in the song referring to a National Youth Service scandal where she was adversely mentioned. Through Kiragu Wathuta & Company Advocates, Waiguru gave the rapper 48 hours apologise in writing and delete the song, failure to which she would sue for defamation. She also threatened to seek orders for the immediate closure of King Kaka’s Twitter account.

According to Waiguru, the remarks about her in the song are highly defamatory and depict her as corrupt and having engaged in the theft of public funds at NYS. Lawyer Ahmednassir has promised to represent King Kaka pro-bono, should he be sued.
