She can continue fooling Kenyans but am not fooled… So she has not paid 44m? Rent?

The build quality on these houses is not the best though. Waiguru ni slay queen tu wa kawaida easily fooled by fancy names.

For 40 million angejenga kitu even far far better.

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru is facing eviction from her Ksh 80 million house in Kitisuru, Nairobi, with the landlord claiming that she owes over Ksh 44 million in rent arrears.
The Governor rushed to court to challenge the eviction notice issued on February 29, arguing that she bought the house and she is the owner.
She stated that she purchased the house for Ksh 40 million and had an agreement with a local bank to cover Ksh 40 million balance through a mortgage.
The Governor’s lawyers argued that Kihingo Village Ltd, the developer, was aware of the purchase deal and allowed her to move into the house before it was sealed.

Kihingo Village Ltd, owned by ex-Tetu MP James Ndung’u Gethenji and his brother Gitahi Gethenji, however, insisted that she is a tenant and hasn’t paid rent for five years. The company wants Waiguru’s assets seized by auctioneers to pay for the rent accrued.
“Our client is not aware of any sale transaction with your client. If you have a copy of the same, please forward to us,” Kihingo Village attorneys responded.
Waiguru’s lawyers accused Kihingo Village of frustrating efforts by the bank to offset the mortgage by failing to deliver relevant documents.
Justice Elijah Obaga issued temporary orders against the eviction and ordered the two parties to solve their issue amicably. Waiguru had asked for permanent orders to halt the eviction.
Her lawyers argued that the judge’s decision would grant Kihingo Village the authority to evict her. She argued that the firm was poised to taint her name.
“Noting her status as the Governor of Kirinyaga County, such an unlawful and unwarranted action of evicting her will no doubt cast aspersion as to her reputation,” Waweru Gatonye, her lawyer stated.
Kihingo Village has 55 housing units on a 37-acre plot with units reported to be now worth Ksh 400 million.
The owners, ex-Tetu MP James Ndung’u Gethenji and his brother Gitahi Gethenji, have been battling for control of the estate for years. On November 10, Commercial Court judge Justice David Majanja declared that the two cannot unilaterally administer the estate nor do they have authority over the firm managing the posh residential homes.

Very smart kunguru

Atii ‘taint her reputation’? which one?

Wakenya hubebwa ka ngotha second hand saa ingine

I hold Waiguru totally responsible for the NYS loot. Don’t care for the ins and outs of how it happened, but the money vanished under her watch and that is all there is to know. The youth are our future but they have been shafted by Jubilee over and over again. I feel really rotten about this. We are educating the youth knowing v well the future is v bleak for them.

2nd of all she was impeached the other day. She got away with it because of her ‘ties’ with Uhuru. Ni hayo tuu for now.

On whose authority are you holding her responsible.

The owners, ex-Tetu MP James Ndung’u Gethenji and his brother Gitahi Gethenji, have been battling for control of the estate for years.

Case closed.

Huyu mama sio smart. If you look at how the houses look today ndio uta realize ni kugongwa. She probably realised and maybe that’s why she doesnt want to finish her payments. She rushed to invest her stolen loot in a con scheme.

And then the owners wanakulia the homeowners from very many fees siijui garbage, sijui security, sijui cleaning fees… mwishowe per month wanadai almost 100k in fees and yet ati nyumba ni yako na sio yako. And those charges are mandatory.

Huyu gitahi githinji hakuwa Kwa NYS season one. Hapa kuna karata ina chezwa.

44million debt in a 80million worth asset…hio ni hesabu mbaya sana, can only exist in a corrupt head!

Mama mwizi sugu Sana, pia alifuata arrow hapa Taita akanunua ranch kubwa Sana ,juzi nilitishiwa na private security yake nikichunga mbuzi ati trespass, takataka

A case of pagwu kupata pwagwuzi. The looter paid 40 M in cash. Ndung’u Githenji hatambui hiyo payment. His brother and the other developers ate hiyo cash. Now Ndung’u wants 40 M coz he realized that there was no sale agreement. Weee! Hii Kenya mambo ya pesa ni ngumu

Those hses are not worth 80m, probably worth around 500m each

Waiguru will one day suffer when the law enforcement agencies become serious.
How did she amass her massive wealth in the short time she was in Power.

Secondly, corrupt people rarely seek publicity you operate in the shadows and are friendly to any Government that may come to power.

ni mwizi sugu

She claimed her password was stolen… Na vile vijana wa NYS hulipwa masumni, hii mama ni jambazi

She is a crook. And her number is up. I know a talker that worked with her at the Treasury. Ati she was v bad even then.

She probably got into an agreement to purchase the home. She didn’t complete the payment. Maybe made half. And her bank delayed probably because they knew she was going to be fired. A mortgage of 40 million with 15% interest requires ksh 500, 000 per month payment. She didn’t follow up was too comfortable living there.

So now she’s living in a property that she hasn’t purchased, and is not paying rent. At that point, if at all they had an agreement, she could have taken them to court to force them to accept the balance.

After some time, the values of the houses rose from ksh 80 m to ksh 150 m. She realized this and rushed to make her bank make the payment. But the owners would not accept. They now probably want the ksh 150 m.

By the way a few of the houses in that estate have been auctioned. I have seen several notes on papers and internet. So it’s a few of the owners been in default other than her.
